IN THE WORKS - Books II-IV
Springing from the pages of Nisheneit Ahas, Book II, Ni Ta, Little Oak is snatched from his tribe by explorers and taken as a trophy on a voyage through empires and oceans. Over the years, he must survive captivity, cruelty, and conversion to reclaim his name, his power, and find his path home.
“The third crow saw her brother dead and went into hiding.”
The 3rd Crow, Book III of Four Crows anthology, is a collection of short stories from tribal members recalling the years of hiding after attempts at forced removal. From the horror of Carlisle to cunning obfuscation and amusing anecdotes, the book celebrates the tribe’s enduring presence.
The 4th Crow, Book IV of Four Crows anthology. Indigenous futurism meets time travel as a Lenape descendent overshoots an attempt to stop the “sale” of Manhattan in 1626 and lands instead in 2008 — on Wall Street.
